The GPT 130 Heat–Trace Control is a single–point microprocessor–based heat–trace control thermostat. It is ideal for applications which require Ground–Fault Equipment Protection (GFEP). Ideal uses include freeze protection, hot water temperature maintenance, grease line trace, tank heating, and other temperature monitoring and control applications.

 

  • Adjustable temperature setpoint allows precise control of a wide range of processes
  • Can use an NEC Class 2 temperature sensor with up to 2,000 ft. cable for enhanced installation options
  • Thermistor temperature sensor with 20 ft. cable included for applications of −40 °F to 230 °F (−40 °C to 110 °C)
  • RTD input allows higher accuracy and extreme–temperature applications
  • The unit can accommodate RTD sensors with 2–, 3–, or 4–wire configuration

The GPT 230 Dual Channel Heat–Trace Control is a dual–point microprocessor–based heat–trace control thermostat. The Tracon model SST-3 adjustable set point thermostat provides process temperature maintenance in cost-sensitive applications requiring ground fault equipment protection (GFEP). The SST-3 adjustable set point thermostat protects processes and equipment from damaging temperatures and/or viscosities by maintaining an adjustable temperature set point from 34°F to 150°F (1°C to 65°C). Typical applications include freeze protection, hot water temperature maintenance, and flow assurance/viscosity maintenance.

The SST-2 operates heaters at temperatures below 40°F (4.4°C) and turns them off above 42°F. It features a built-in 30 mA GFEP that is digitally filtered to minimize false tripping and operates from automatically selected voltages of 120, 208, 240 or 277 v. Also available in ambient configuration as SST-2AMB.
