CM-1 Microprocessor Based Monitoring System

Nelson Heat Trace CM-1 microprocessor based heater cable monitoring system continually monitors the status of both series and parallel styles of electric heat tracing cables and panels.  The CM-1 monitors the supply voltage and current flow to each heating device.  With the addition of continuity monitoring devices (CMD), this system monitors both bus wires in parallel styles of heating cable.  When used in conjunction with ground fault branch breakers, the CM-1 serves as an automatic alarm system for any ground fault condition.

The S1-A Heat-Trace Control is a single-circuit IoT heat trace controller with WiFi and Ethernet capability.  The Frio Cloud platform integrates weather data, system feedback, and proprietary control algorithms to maximize system effectiveness and efficiency. The S1-A provides the ability to use RTD's for hot temperature applications and RS485 for building management communication.

CM3 Circuit Management System

Nelson Heat Trace CM3 circuit management system provides a compact, tightly integrated, factory assembled/tested solution for high density plant locations.  The unit is based on a standard PLC platform, specifically integrated for use with electric heat trace systems.  The CM3 provides temperature monitoring and control of the trace heating system.  Negative trends are noted on a maintenance pending list, while more severe problems are removed from service and alarmed.
